Evil in the world today isn't what you'd expect. It is cleverly crafted and seemingly integrated into the folds of our daily life. It is the Propaganda that forms the very fabric of society. Let me explain, you see where there is a topic there is a thought, an action or reaction, and people get pissed off over everything, we just cant be happy and always have to add our two cents, as such conflict never ends. Because America wants oil we invade other countries, then they get angry and attack us, but we need to "fix" them, and create hostility. Bush said there where weapons years ago, which didn't exist..and we are still there, the war should be over and we should go home. But there is always a "reason" for war and always fanatics who support it. Then theres the media "infecting the young minds faster than bacteria". These days Pg13 means borderline sexual or violent content. And Disney channel dominates the airwaves and controls the minds of children and tweens everywhere. It was just creepy when my sister being 5yrs old, knew more about dressing like a 18yr old, kissing and boys than I did untill I was in highschool. $%^&* Disney channel. Why cant children be cool without dressing in expensive clothing, being skinny or popular or being shallow? High School Musical is also like...retarded we don't need a status quo. And all of the commercials are telling us we are imperfect, and need products, that's why kids are bulimic or anorexic, or insecure. And don't even get me started on Vegans, its one thing to want to be vegetarian to live a healthy lifestyle but if you are a crazy fanatic saving the animals well....they die anyway, everyone eats them, if you want to make a change shut down McDonalds, one of the reasons for the rise of obesity in this nation.Overall people, get your own brains, make your own decisions and be your own unique individuals, make a change!

Mana
When I was born you drove to see me
I was your great-grandchild
And I'm sure from the first moment that you saw me, that I had made you smile
My mother told me when my footprints where being taken you where shocked that they where black
And when you where kicked out of the room you said "I no speak Inglee" and snuck right back
Later on you would sew your floral granny robes, so that they where small enough for me and I could pose
There was always a dollar to be sneaked in my pocket that you told me to save for lunch
And when we looked out the window and saw a plane whiz by, we would raise up our arms and cry
Llevame a Puerto Rico!! and I wished that I could fly to where you came from
Where your husband had met you and together you had left to begin anew in New York
But you never went back...maybe I will go one day and think about you as a plane streaks across the sky
As the recollection of our memories together starts to make me cry
Rest in peace my adorable little angel, my great grandmother Manita. <3

The Little Girl
There was a little girl
In her mothers eyes she was the world
She was taken everywhere but the children on the block where scarce
And she was lonely
It was the same in the little catholic school with its uniforms and structured rules
Using religion as divine tools while the proctors themselves sneered and where unjolly
Later on she moved but there where divisions of race and cliques that had lasted ages
So she just could'nt seem to fit in
And she was lonely
A few years later she moved again and this time around she made true friends
Who accepted her just as she was~
And she was happy

Write a poem
Write a poem filled with angst
Write a poem showing your weaknesses and strengths
Write a poem about places near and far
Write a poem showing who you are

Seasons Change
The birds they fly
The leaves they die
The flowers wither
Winter says come hither
The snow it falls
Bleaches the Autumn walls
Christmas comes again
Share yuletide with a friend
